Ministry of Housing – CH&PA Invitation for Expressions of Interest For the Construction of 400 Square Feet Houses Under the Social Housing Programme

THE INTENT: THE GOVERNMENT OF GUYANA under the Social Housing Programme is desirous of constructing 400 sq. ft flat low-income housing units for eligible beneficiaries. Under this Programme, the government will support the construction and delivery of adequate, safe and affordable housing units to extremely vulnerable and economically disadvantaged households that may otherwise be unable to access housing through conventional means. The Executing Agency of the Government; The Ministry of Housing, Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA) hereby invites Contractors, Consortiums, Individuals, etc. to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to the Chairman of the Central Housing and Planning Authority Board located at Plantation Houston along the Mandela to Eccles Highway, East Bank Demerara, Region #4 on or before 3:00 PM on September 21st, 2026 for the following housing unit model: – Low Income Units—400 sq. ft. flat unit, one bedroom, toilet and bath, ceiling, tiles, basic kitchen cupboard, etc. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Certified copies of business registration and incorporation documents, GRA compliances and VAT certificates for Company or Consortium Audited Financial Statements for the past year (2025) Statement regarding any litigation, current or during the last two (2) years List of past projects of a similar size, nature and complexity List of available equipment (house construction) List of qualification and experience of personnel inclusive of an organizational structure Statement on proposed financing of the construction of the various housing units Evidence showing financial capacity Submit a relevant method of statement and work programme to execute the works Construction drawings showing site layout plans, floor layout plans, foundation plans, plumbing and electrical layouts, elevations, 3D model and all associated structural engineering drawings for the above-mentioned housing unit models of your interest Detailed estimate for the above-mentioned housing unit model Statement indicating the type of construction materials, construction methodology and construction techniques and in cases where foreign materials, methodology and techniques are an option, then all associated specifications must be submitted.
